Room Attendant

Position Summary

The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring 100% guest satisfaction by providing a clean, comfortable, and safe room environment.

$17.00 per hour

• Clean assigned guest rooms or suites, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, arranging room furniture, and cleaning bathrooms
• Maintain cleaning protocols, empty trash containers, and replace trash liners
• Restock usable items in guest rooms or suites such as soap, towels, amenities, paper items
• Remove and dispose of guest room trays, glass, and silverware appropriately
• Clean and vacuum exterior entryways and hallways
• Keep linen closets and supply areas clean and organized
• Attend to guest laundry and dry‑cleaning orders promptly
• Notify supervisor of any special guestroom or suite issues, including maintenance needs
• Handle guest complaints or requests promptly and refer to supervisor if unable to resolve
• Ensure that all rooms or suites are secured upon departure
• Provide genuine hospitality, teamwork, and positive guest experiences to achieve 100% guest satisfaction

• Minimum of one year of hospitality housekeeping experience
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
• Strong attention to detail
• Commitment to exceptional guest service
• Ability to clean multiple room types and meet daily cleaning quotas
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Adherence to hotel policies and procedures

• Repetitive hand and arm movements
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
• Capacity to squat, bend, kneel, and twist
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
