The Radisson Blu Mall of America, part of Choice’s portfolio, seeks a Housekeeping House Attendant to support housekeeping operations and ensure a consistently high standard of guest experience.
Key Responsibilities- Perform all shift checklist responsibilities and reporting requirements.
- Be familiar with property, departments, hours of operation, and hotel services.
- Answer basic housekeeping‑related questions for guests and team members.
- Assist the team with training, supplies, and support to maintain quality guest rooms and public areas.
- Properly maintain hotel keys and electronic cards (key control).
- Clean and stock linen closets; pick up dirty linen from housekeeping closets and drop it in the chute.
- Clean and vacuum hallways, including baseboards; dust light fixtures.
- Turn in all lost and found items in accordance with procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and keep stock levels on par.
- Strip rooms when needed and assist in picking up dirty linen.
- Sort terry and linen into laundry carts after coming down the linen chute.
- Place all trash from guest room floors in dumpsters.
- Run items to guest rooms, room attendants, and supervisor.
- Actively participate in housekeeping’s deep‑clean or preventive maintenance programs.
- Participate in all departmental meetings and required training programs.
- Carpet‑clean guest rooms and hallways when needed.
- Report any damage or hazard repairs to your immediate supervisor.
- Clean elevator tracks on all guest elevators.
- Perform all housekeeping duties as outlined in hotel‑specific training outlines and property checklists.
- Familiarize yourself with frequently used Standard Operations Procedures.
- Operate all housekeeping equipment effectively.
- Recognize situations that require immediate supervisory attention.
- Create 100% guest satisfaction by delivering the Radisson experience with genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations.
- Provide personal attention, take personal responsibility, and use teamwork when delivering guest service.
- Listen, apologize with empathy, find a solution, and follow through when resolving guest problems.
- Provide Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork consistently.
- Notice when a guest is not satisfied and use best judgment to apply 100% Guest Satisfaction practices.
- Perform other duties required to display brand behavior and genuine hospitality.
- Carry out additional duties as requested by management to maintain service quality.
- Minimum of one year hospitality experience in housekeeping.
- Follows instructions and communicates effectively.
- Works well independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional guest service.
- Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Adheres to hotel policies and procedures.
- Physical ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting, carrying, or otherwise moving up to 75lbs.
- Proficient with common office equipment (computers, printers, phones, etc.).
- Hourly wage: $18.32.
