OverviewThe Senior Solutions Architect is a highly motivated, skilled resource who embraces an entrepreneurial approach with a strong work ethic. This position primarily focuses on consulting with C1’s Enterprise Customers to develop solid strategies with Outcome Based solutions that deliver measurable results through ROI and TCO models. The position is responsible for assessing customer needs and tailoring customized architectures that have strategic value and are complex in nature to fit business needs.
The Senior Solutions Architect is well versed in all market offerings in their area of expertise and works closely with the account team to ensure full accuracy of the architecture and the value proposition. Additionally, this position is able to explain, position and justify costs related to C1’s solutions.

Responsibilities- Serves as the subject matter expert in a key area such as:
- 5x4 (Collab, Customer Experience, Security, Data Center, Enterprise Networking), (Cloud, Managed Services, Professional Services, Maintenance)
- Cisco
- Genesys
- Avaya
- Microsoft
- Works with Business and IT Leaders to identify customer needs, issues and interests to formulate a strategy that will achieve business objectives
- Provides solution consulting, technical architecture and sales support for account opportunities
- Provides live demonstrations for customers and sales teams
- Develops and maintains technical competency and related certifications for all core products and solutions areas
- Performs Strategic Road‑mapping Sessions with customers
- Participates in User Groups and Conferences as required
- May publish content to the public sphere as it pertains to area of expertise (Social Media, Linked In, White Papers, etc.)
- Keeps current on industry changes, participates when possible in organizations directly involved with SME products and services, and continually works to improve techniques and sales knowledge
- Provides timely and accurate deliverables to customers including statements of work and product architectures
- Participates in Solution Deliverables at the direction of the Solution Architect
- These could include:
- Participating in Discovery and Documentation of Business Requirements specific to area of expertise which may include ROI and TCO models
- Assuming responsibility for 3rd Party Quotes and SOW language for area of expertise
- Providing relevant Statement of Work Language to Solution Architect resources and guidance around content flow
- Participating in Solution/Delivery Assurance and Services Handoff Meetings
- These could include:
- Ensures productive relationships with manufacturer technical peers
- Assumes responsibility of being dedicated to Top Accounts or Top Account Managers as needed
- 7–10 years in Collaboration and Customer Experience
- Broad and general knowledge of Collaboration, Customer Experience and Infrastructure
- Strong expertise in Cisco Collab, Avaya Collab, Microsoft and other Collaboration/Customer Experience solutions
- Subject matter expertise related to SIP and Cloud based Services and architectures
- Must have a good working knowledge of the collaboration industry and related protocols, including SIP, H.323, WebRTC, firewall traversals and VoIP
