Roles and Responsibilities
- Gather requirements from the business and provide the best suitable solution based on technical expertise.
- Migrate the legacy web application/portal into digital marketing websites/portal using Sitecore CMS, MVC, and latest UI technologies like Angular
JS. - Enhance features / fix bugs in an existing application according to business need and simplify the user experience.
- Create Sitecore components and view renderings for the websites.
- Responsible for upgrading Sitecore CMS to the latest version (9.1).
- Write unit test cases, perform deployment activities, smoke testing, and post‑production support.
- Involved in server maintenance activities and responsible for ensuring system availability (uptime).
- Prepare the strategy of migrating Medica’s website/portal from on‑prem to Azure hosting environment.
- Create new user accounts and roles in the Sitecore website when required.
- Integrate/consume data from external or third‑party applications via web services or RSS feed consumption.
- Build single‑page applications and landing pages for promotions whenever business requires.
