Strategic Sourcing Analyst

Role Overview As the Strategic Sourcing Analyst, you will serve as a key procurement partner to Sales, Solutions Architecture, Engineering, and our Service Delivery team, helping design, price, and source the materials needed to support opportunity wins and project profitability. This role requires strong knowledge of the IT hardware and software channel, the ability to manage a high volume of concurrent quote requests, and the judgment to identify sourcing risks and recommend cost-effective alternatives throughout the solution design process.

Analyze technical Bills of Materials to determine the optimal sourcing strategy for each item, solicit, compare, and validate quotes from OEMs, distributors, and alternate channels to secure accurate pricing and the most competitive total cost, and evaluate and pursue deal registration, special pricing, rebates, promotions, and incentive programs to protect margin and improve deal economics.

Success in this fast-paced, deadline-driven role requires strong knowledge of the IT hardware and software channel, the ability to manage a high volume of concurrent quote requests, and the judgment to identify sourcing risks and recommend cost-effective alternatives throughout the solution design process.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in IT product quoting, procurement, distribution, or a related channel role within the IT/technology industry
• Strong working familiarity with major cable/connectivity and equipment OEMs and national distributors
• Practical knowledge of deal registration, SPA, and competitive/special pricing processes
• Demonstrated negotiation experience with a track record of securing favorable pricing and terms from suppliers
• Ability to read and interpret a technical Bill of Materials and translate it into an actionable sourcing plan
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities
• Proficiency with quoting/CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Service Now, CPQ tools) and Microsoft Excel
