The Commercial Counsel position is responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of technology sales, partnership, and financing agreements with government agencies and enterprise customers. The position is integral in managing resources and collaborating with internal stakeholders to reduce legal risk while aligning with business objectives.

• Review, draft, and negotiate technology (hardware and SaaS) sales and related agreements with public and private sector customers while managing shifting priorities
• Identify compliance requirements to do business with specific customers and develop related policies and procedures
• Develop internal processes and procedures to improve contracting efficiency
• Draft template agreements and develop contracting playbooks

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Minnesota or California
• 2-4 years experience as a practicing attorney, with some experience in-house preferred
• Prior experience negotiating commercial agreements with public and private sector customers
• Familiarity with government contracting principles and contracting vehicles

• Minimum Travel for Company meetings.

Getac is located in Irvine, CA but this position would be a hybrid (3 days in office) position located in our Bloomington, MN office.
