Immigration Attorney

We are a women-owned, small law firm focused solely on immigration. Our teams work on cases ranging from employment visa sponsorship to naturalization to asylum, and everything in between. We pride ourselves on our ability to creatively solve problems using our team’s vast expertise across the spectrum of immigration law.

We are seeking an attorney with strong writing skills to join our immigration team.

The current immediate need is on Karam’s immigration litigation and removal proceedings team. However, as we are a full-service immigration firm, there are opportunities for this position to expand into other immigration areas, including employment and corporate-based immigration.

Duties include performing independent legal research and writing, drafting correspondence, reviewing evidence, preparing petitions and applications, and drafting legal documents. You must maintain deadlines, be organized and maintain client communication and files. The ideal candidate would also be prepared for direct client representation before USCIS, immigration court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and federal courts. Knowledge of a foreign language is helpful but not required.

• Some experience in immigration law
• Excellent legal writing skills with attention to detail in legal drafting
• Organized and detail oriented in multitasking and managing deadline-sensitive work
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Admission to practice law in any U.S. state.
