Warehouse Manager– Bloomington, MN
This is an inter imposition to cover a 3 months leave
Pay Rate:DOE
This role will provide temporary leadership and oversight of the Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse functions. This role is responsible for managing approximately 30 employees while ensuring the efficient flow of materials, inventory accuracy, and operational excellence across multiple inventory locations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead daily operations for Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse teams consisting of approximately 30 employees.
- Oversee inventory management activities across onsite and offsite locations valued at approximately $61 million.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, reconciliations, and process improvements.
- Manage the flow of materials, products, services, and related information from receipt through shipment.
- Coordinate warehousing, material handling, transportation, and third-party logistics activities.
- Monitor critical parts availability to support production and customer commitments.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Finance, Sales, Engineering, and Product Development teams to improve logistics processes and operational efficiency.
- Support financial reporting and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable import/export requirements.
- Coach, develop, and evaluate team members to drive performance and engagement.
- Implement logistics plans and procedures that balance customer needs, quality requirements, and budget objectives.
- 3+ years of logistics, warehouse, materials, or supply chain leadership experience
- Strong inventory control and materials management experience.
- Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems, preferably Oracle
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
