This role applies engineering discipline, data analysis, and cross-functional partnership to align labor and process execution to business demand. The position is expected to identify constraints, improve throughput, and implement practical solutions that strengthen safety, service, cost, and systems performance across inbound, outbound, inventory, and support operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze volume, labor utilization, and productivity trends to identify imbalance, waste, and capacity constraints across functions and shifts.
  • Build and maintain workload balancing models that align labor deployment to forecast demand, service requirements, and operating priorities.
  • Assess staffing plans and recommend labor adjustments to address changing volume, priority shifts, and operational risk.
  • Identify bottlenecks across receiving, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory flows, and drive actions that improve throughput and stability.
  • Partner with Operations leaders to optimize labor deployment, shift design, and resource strategy in support of execution needs.
  • Partner with WMS and business systems teams to develop dashboards, reporting, and KPIs that improve visibility to labor performance, throughput, utilization, and service attainment.
  • Lead continuous improvement work using Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methods to deliver measurable and sustainable gains.
  • Support peak planning, capacity modeling, and labor forecasting to ensure the operation is positioned to execute through volume variability and growth.
  • Evaluate layout, slotting, and process design opportunities that improve workload balance, travel efficiency, and operational flow.
  • Ensure engineering recommendations align with safety requirements, quality expectations, and operational standards.
