Job Description SummaryThe Project Manager is responsible for overseeing interior design projects from concept through completion for Securian Financial, an owner occupier of class A office space in downtown St. Paul. This position is part of an integrated Cushman & Wakefield management team working closely with the facility and engineering, project management, space planning, and occupancy teams and the client to deliver design and project management solutions in alignment with client workplace strategy and aesthetics.
Responsibilities- Manage interior design and furniture projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for interior design projects, translating needs into actionable design plans.
- Participate in development and monitoring of budgets, and manage procurement of materials and furnishings.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring milestones are met and resources are allocated efficiently.
- Conduct site visits to ensure work aligns with design specifications and quality standards.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability practices.
- Prepare project reports, meeting notes, and design documentation for internal use.
- Assist in maintaining inventories of furniture on site and in vendor warehouses.
- Manage onsite move for medium (10+) and large projects.
- Position is hybrid (3 days in the office per week).

- B.S. Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA or NASAD accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 7 years of directly related experience in interior design and project management.
- Hands‑on experience with tenant improvement construction projects preferred.
- Ability to read and understand construction specifications and blueprints.
- Proficient with Bluebeam.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
This job operates in a professional office environment and requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
