* JOB DESCRIPTION:

** This position is responsible to supervise and drive continuous improvement for the manufacturing crew within the value stream and deliver business results. Assigned manufacturing crew is large in size and/or complexity.  In addition to a crew of production employees, this position may directly or indirectly lead a group of supervisors / departments to provide support in daily execution when the Value Stream Manager is not present.

This position may directly lead a small group of supervisors along with a manufacturing crew as development in preparation for a VSM role. This position also ensures the value stream is operated in accordance with Andersen Corporation’s values, employee covenant, and strategic direction.

* PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

*** Develop and lead A3 Plan / A3 projects for manufacturing crew, utilizing current and future state value stream maps
* Deliver business metric results (SQDCP), utilizing tiered management system
* Provide direct leadership to value stream team leads, production employees and potentially other supervisors
* Provide indirect leadership to other support functions and other supervisors (matrix organization)
* Provide coaching, feedback and development to manufacturing crew, Team Leads, and Supervisors, promoting career growth opportunities
* Ensure the desired product quality levels are achieved through use of standard work and training to those standards, training in operation and inspection techniques, and use of tools/data
* Promote going to gemba to solve problems, promoting hands-on approach to problem solving
* Establish an environment conducive to high levels of inclusion, morale, associate satisfaction, and performance

* QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

*** Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or combination of equivalent education and leadership experience.
* 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
* Business acumen and knowledge
* Communication skills;
