Job Description Summary

As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of effectiveness and efficiency within the assigned territory by developing business and market strategies to drive growth and profitability, engaging and motivating employees, ensuring employees are in the right positions, providing sales leadership, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Position Responsibilities
  • OPERATIONS:
    • Develop action plans outlining tactical steps to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
    • Review all Profit and Loss reports and adjust strategy as needed to improve Regional and Profit Center operations.
    • Develop regional organizational structure capable of efficiently meeting customer needs and achieving growth and revenue objectives.
    • Lead Store Managers in maximizing profits with effective fleet mix, pricing strategies, maintenance programs, utilization, delivery, and sharing of fleet between Profit Centers.
    • Work with key management on program execution and provide direction for modifications according to business conditions and company goals.
  • BUSINESS ACUMEN:
    • Strategically design and implement operational and sales-driven excellence to deliver business results.
    • Execute plans within the market to achieve maximum sales and profit potential.
    • Develop and implement strategic plans consistent with and appropriate to long-range objectives.
    • Recognize and capitalize on industry and market trends.
  • SALES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE:
    • Lead sales function and direct activities including forecasting, management, and sales force development.
    • Ensure customers receive exceptional service by partnering with all levels of management and support staff to resolve issues and identify opportunities.
  • LEADERSHIP:
    • Develop and coach direct reports in creating and implementing their plans to build a leadership pipeline for the region.
    • Ensure the management team, sales, and staff have the appropriate direction needed to perform their roles effectively and foster a culture of growth.
    • Ensure coordinated leadership and consistency across regions.
Requirements
  • Up to 75% travel required. Must be able and willing to travel as needed.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of district-level management experience plus 2 years of sales experience.
  • Extremely competent across all product lines, including product specification and technical design of projects and applications.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, coaching, mentorship, and development skills.
  • Proven ability to drive results consistent with Sunbelt values and goals.
  • Proven track record of Profit and Loss accountability.
  • Effective communication skills.
Physical Demands

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch, and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more. Some roles may require driving for long periods, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions, and working nights or weekends. All duties must be performed according to Sunbelt’s safety policies and guidelines. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with ADA/ADAAA.

Compensation

Base Pay Range: $ - $ (starting rate may vary based on factors such as location, education, training, and experience).
