About the Role
We are seeking a heavyweight Senior Project Manager for an immediate, high‑visibility temporary‑to‑permanent role. In this position, you will own the end‑to‑end execution of work for one of our largest and most matrixed CPG accounts.
This isn’t a role for a passive note‑taker; we need a strategic operator who can step into an active ecosystem, gain immediate credibility with senior stakeholders, and keep multi‑million dollar cross‑functional initiatives on time and on budget. Because this is a contract‑to‑hire position, we are looking for someone who treats this from day one as a long‑term home.
Responsibilities- Own the Account’s Engine:
Lead the planning, scoping, and execution of complex, multi‑tier CPG initiatives spanning product launches, integrated marketing campaigns, packaging updates, and digital activations. - Manage Enterprise Stakeholders:
Serve as the central hub connecting client brand managers, creative teams, supply chain partners, and external vendors. - Scope & Resource Forecasting:
Build precise project roadmaps, manage complex budgets, allocate internal resources, and proactively mitigate risks before they hit the timeline. - Process Optimization:
Evaluate existing workflows and implement agile or hybrid methodologies to streamline delivery for this fast‑moving account.
The ideal candidate lives at the intersection of rigid organizational mastery and fluid relationship management. CPG accounts are notoriously fast‑moving and subject to supply chain or retail shifts—you must be someone who stays calm in the chaos.
5+ years of Project Management experience, ideally split between a fast‑paced agency environment and enterprise corporate accounts.
Deep CPG
Experience:
You must speak the language of consumer goods (retail timelines, cross‑functional brand matrixes, packaging regulations, and multi‑channel campaign rollouts).
Location:
Must be based in or willing to commute to the Minneapolis area to align with client and team touchpoints.
Tool Mastery:
Advanced proficiency with enterprise PM tools.
