***** This role is an on-site position at our customer location in Bloomington, MN.
** Under the direction of the Albuquerque Plant Manager, and working alongside key personnel at the customer site, the
** On-Site Customer Supervisor’s
** primary responsibility is to support all aspects of the Customers shielding and related services at the Customers manufacturing site. The On-Site Customer Supervisor will be the first point of contact, handling enquiries, assisting with resolution of complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
** You will have the opportunity to:
*** Lead and manage the Materion employed On-Site Shipping employee.
* Develop, in liaison with Customer, a flexible inventory system capable of responding to manufacturing demand and technological change to avoid stock-outs or component obsolescence (optimize inventory levels).
* Assist in determining shielding needs with the engineering team as a result of new equipment installs, system re-configurations, and quality.
* Work with ABQ Ops team to assist in prioritizing orders and maintaining high turnover and quick cycle times for all shield cleaning.
* Provide and maintain a weekly inventory report of all shielding at Customer’s facility, and in-transit. Notify the Customer’s Buyer when additional spare parts are needed.
* Provide a daily report outlining the shielding shipments from Customer on that day - this can be done by email. The report will be sent to the appropriate Materion and Customer distribution list at the end of each day.
* Provide reviews and written reports of the on-site cleaning program, detailing consumption by equipment set, areas of improvement, potential areas of opportunity, and failures.## REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of Associates degree in one of the following Engineering disciplines:
Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Physics, or related field, or Equivalent Work Experience.
* Requires work experience in shipping and receiving.

Experience with inventory control and stocking, and experience with quality inspections.
* Requires the ability to operate various office and warehouse equipment to include a computer, printer, copier, calculator, telephone systems. Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. SAP experience desirable.
* Must be able to work independently while maintaining open communication with the Materion sales, marketing and operations groups.
