About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Grinder to join our team. As a Grinder, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various grinding machines. Your attention to detail and ability to read blueprints will be essential in ensuring the accuracy of the finished product. You will work closely with other members of the team to meet production goals and maintain a safe work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in machine building and surface grinding
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Proficiency in the use of machine tools and hand tools
• Experience with vertical mills and precision measuring tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CNC machines
• Certification in machining or related field
• Experience with CAD software

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain various grinding machines to produce precision parts
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accuracy of finished product
• Perform machine set-up and deburring as needed
• Use precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a safe work environment

Skills:

As a Grinder, you will use your expertise in machine building, surface grinding, and precision measuring to produce high-quality parts. You will also use your knowledge of hand and machine tools to perform machine set-up and deburring. Your ability to read blueprints and collaborate with team members will be essential in meeting production goals and maintaining a safe work environment. Additionally, experience with CNC machines, CAD software, and certification in machining or a related field would be beneficial in this role.
