- Follow production instructions and tasks from process sheets, blueprints, or verbal directions provided by the supervisor.
- Install machine fixtures, aligning and securing dies, punches, blades, or other fixtures to ensure safe machine operation.
- Set up and operate machines such as lathes, mills, drills, presses, and CNC machines according to specifications.
- Monitor production process to ensure machines function correctly and products meet quality standards; perform inspections and measurements of finished products using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines, wear PPE, use a crane or buddy system for heavy parts, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist in other areas or departments as needed.
- Average math skills and ability to read and comprehend instructions in English.
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and position heavy components.
- Adherence to company policies, including timekeeping and scheduled hours.
- Stamina to stand continuously for an entire shift in a non‑climate‑controlled shop environment.
- Basic machining knowledge and proficiency with measuring devices.
- Collaboration with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes.
- Attention to detail for maintaining quality standards.
- Reliability and consistent performance.
- Adaptability to respond to shifting production demands.
- 1st Shift Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
