Medical Assembler

Medical Assembler – Pay $18–20/hr, Saint Paul, MN

• The individuals in this position will work in a clean room environment to manufacture a variety of different styles of French catheters.
• This will include basic assembly of the catheter components, stringing catheters, reflow, visual inspection, and final packaging of the products.
• The assemblers will work with small hand tools, tweezers, and microscopes to build the catheters.
• They must be willing to learn how to work in all areas and flex to different product lines and assemblies as needed.

This position will require candidates to do more manual/hand assembly. They are expected to braid, stretch, and pull catheters by hand, so their hands will be a little sore in their first couple of weeks. Once they are fully trained and the job becomes repetitive, the soreness will ease/go away.

• 6+ months of medical assembly experience, preferably catheter assemblies
• 6+ months of experience using a microscope
• 6+ months of experience using basic hand tools, tweezers, cutters, pliers
• Willingness to learn and be cross trained
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to work in a team environment

Clean room working environment, well lit, temperature controlled, and expanding facility. Clean room is a full clean room, gowning, smock, hair net, glasses, etc.
