Job Description
Job Title:
Welder
Perform MIG welding, with some TIG on mild steel. Use solid wire .035 for MIG welding, with wire feed. Handle typical thicknesses ranging from 18 gauge to quarter inch. Each welder is responsible for starting and finishing their own jobs, including all fabrication and checking their own parts. Welding positions include mostly flat vertical down and horizontal. Utilize Lincoln welders and grind your own welds.
Operate the robotic welder and be flexible to wear multiple hats, as manual welding all day is not feasible due to the small team size. The biggest qualification is the ability to set up the welder to the correct heat settings for various jobs.
