Job Title:
Medical Assembler
The individuals in this position will work in a clean room environment to manufacture a variety of different styles of French catheters. This will include basic assembly of the catheter components, stringing catheters, reflow, visual inspection, and final packaging of the products. The assemblers will work with small hand tools, tweezers, and microscopes to build the catheters. Some of the catheters they build can be complex and have up to 17 different stages to the builds.
They must be willing to learn how to work in all areas and flex to different product lines and assemblies as needed.
* This position will require candidates to do more manual/hand assembly. They are expected to braid, stretch, and pull catheters by hand, so their hands will be a little sore their first couple of weeks. Once they're fully trained in and it becomes repetitive, the soreness will ease/go away.*
1st Shift - Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm (seeking Level 2 or
3)
L1 - 0 experience is $17.50 on 1st $18.50 on 2nd
L2 - 6-12 months of experience $18.50 - $19.50/hr + shift differential for 2nd shift
L3 - 2-3 years of experience $20 - $21/hr + shift differential for 2nd shift

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 18 Week(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Maplewood, Minnesota.
Work Environment
Clean room working environment, well lit, temperature controlled and they are expanding their facility as well. Clean room is a full clean room, gowning, smock, hair net, glasses etc.
