Ready to elevate your impact as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in southern Minnesota at a mission-driven hospital where your expertise matters? Think tight-knit teamwork, high-growth cases, and enticing benefits in a community based, small hospital environment that makes every day rewarding.
This Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist opportunity delivers the best of both worlds for a CRNA—independent practice within a collaborative, safety-first culture and strong clinical governance that supports evidence-based care, enhanced recovery pathways, and consistently excellent outcomes. The hospital’s reputation for clinical excellence, low infection rates, and high patient satisfaction scores attracts patients from across the region, while modern data and analytics, and streamlined workflows give a CRNA the tools to work smarter.
Professional development thrives here with paid CEUs, tuition assistance, simulation lab access, conference funding, and clear advancement pathways, ensuring a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist grows skills rapidly through high-acuity exposure in a supportive environment.
In the operating room, surgical services suite, and preoperative areas, a CRNA will join a nimble team that handles a broad case mix typical of a regional referral site, including general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, endoscopy, and select outpatient procedures. The facility is well-equipped with advanced monitoring, ultrasound guidance for regional blocks, and strong pharmacy and perioperative support. This role is ideal for clinicians who value the pace, autonomy, and continuity of a community-centered perioperative service line.
Reporting-wise, the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist will collaborate closely with the Anesthesia Medical Director and the Surgical Services leadership structure, partnering with the Director of Surgical Services and perioperative management. Day-to-day responsibilities include comprehensive preoperative assessments, formulating and administering general, regional, and MAC anesthetics, airway management, ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks, intraoperative hemodynamic optimization, multimodal analgesia, and postoperative evaluations. Opportunities exist to contribute to quality improvement, safety committees, and education for peers and students.
Set in southern Minnesota, this role offers a lifestyle many CRNAs seek: short commutes, affordable cost of living, lakes and river valley trails, fishing, biking, and family-friendly community events. The region offers walkable downtowns, easy parking, and straightforward drives to major shopping, cultural attractions, and a large international airport, enhancing work-life balance.
This position features competitive compensation with potential for sign-on incentives, relocation assistance, premium differentials, malpractice coverage with tail, generous paid time off, CME funds and days, and a full suite of health and retirement benefits—including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and employer retirement match—designed to reward a CRNA’s expertise and commitment.
