All Home Health is currently seeking internal applicants for the role of On Call Coordinator.
Job DescriptionThe On Call Coordinator provides after-hours support for employees and clients during emergency and non-emergency situations. This role participates in an on-call rotation approximately one week every four weeks, or one week every three weeks depending on staffing needs.
The coordinator is responsible for responding to after-hours staffing and client care needs, communicating urgent updates to office staff, coordinating coverage for open shifts, providing fill-in shift coverage when required, and maintaining accurate documentation of communications and actions taken during on-call periods.
Position Details- Starting compensation: $800/month (paid bi-weekly per regular payroll schedule)
- Part-time on call role
- One week on-call rotation every four weeks (may become every three weeks depending on staffing needs)
- Be available and responsive during assigned on-call weeks outside of regular business hours
- Monitor and respond to after-hours calls and text messages from employees and clients
- Coordinate staffing coverage for open shifts as needed
- Communicate urgent updates to office staff
- Maintain accurate documentation of communications, decisions, and follow-up actions to support continuity of operations and management review
- Provide direct coverage for client shifts when required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated dependability, professionalism, and ability to respond appropriately during urgent situations
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with clients and staff

Background Check RequirementsAll applicants are subject to criminal background studies, conducted through the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 245C. Individuals with disqualifying offenses or substantiated maltreatment findings may be ineligible for employment unless rehabilitation criteria are met. Employment will not begin until the background study is completed and eligibility is confirmed.
