Job Overview

The Martin Luther Care Center RN Casual Nurse leads, supervises, and directs or delegates all nursing functions on an assigned unit or floor to ensure care is provided per the plan of care. The position demands sound management skills through problem solving and decision making, supervising in compliance with State and Federal regulations and Ebenezer standards for the Skilled Nursing Facility in Bloomington, MN.

• Casual/on‑call schedule
• Day, evening, and night shifts
• Weekends as needed

• Assure staff compliance with State and Federal regulations, nursing standards of practice, and Ebenezer quality assurance standards.
• Ensure care plans, medical records, and other documentation are up to date.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders and facility policies.
• Report problem areas to management and provide suggestions and solutions.
• Serve as facility supervisor and assume administrative responsibilities as assigned.

Required:

• Minimum Associates RN Degree.
• Current MN RN license by start date.
• CPR/BLS certified.

Preferred:

• BSN degree.
• Three to five years of previous LTC management experience.
