Registered Nurse - RN

Job Overview

Ebenezer is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) who would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the adult residents’ physical and emotional well-being for our patients in our Bloomington, MN skilled nursing facility location, Martin Luther Care Center TCU and LTC.

Nursing schedule includes:

• 16 hours in two weeks
• Day shift
• Every other weekend

• Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual Care Plan.
• Coordinates medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies.
• Assesses care plans, resident goals and revises, modifies as needed.
• Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status and cares provided.

• Current MN RN license or will have one by start date.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers (3 week grace period for BLS).

• Comfortable using Microsoft Windows and electronic charting systems.
• Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to get along with residents, families and physicians or providers.
• Ability to work with and have sensitivity to the needs of the geriatric population.
