Registered Nurse - RN

Job Overview

Ebenezer is looking for a Registered Nurse - RN who would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the adult residents’ physical and emotional well‑being for patients at our Bloomington, MN skilled nursing facility location, Martin Luther Care Center TCU and LTC.

• 16 hours in two weeks
• Day shift
• Every other weekend

• Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual Care Plan
• Coordinates medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies
• Assesses care plans, resident goals and revises, modifies as needed
• Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status and cares provided

• Current MN RN license or to be obtained by start date
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers (3 week grace period for BLS)

• Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems
• Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
• Good written and verbal communication skills to get along with residents, families and physicians or providers
• Ability to work with and have sensitivity to the needs of the geriatric population
