EHS Specialist |Bloomington, MN

Our client,a leading advanced manufacturing and data storage technology company, is seeking an EHS Specialist to join their team. As an EHS Specialist, you will be part of the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) team supporting Manufacturing, Facilities, Operations, Contractors, and Project Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $37.58 - $40.17/hr

What's the Job?
  • Provide day-to-day EHS support and maintain a visible field presence for employees, contractors, supervisors, and project teams.
  • Conduct incident investigations, support root cause analysis, and track corrective actions through completion.
  • Perform safety inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and risk evaluations across manufacturing and facilities operations.
  • Support equipment installations, maintenance activities, construction projects, and contractor safety programs.
  • Deliver EHS training, compliance support, and continuous improvement initiatives to promote a safe work environment.
What's Needed?
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in occupational safety, EHS, manufacturing safety, industrial safety, or a related field.
  • Experience conducting incident investigations, risk assessments, safety audits, inspections, and corrective action management.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA General Industry regulations and contractor safety practices.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
