Job Description – Overview
Do you have experience in retail loss prevention and want to work for a company that still believes in apprehending and prosecuting criminals? The Hobby Lobby Loss Prevention Department is seeking a full-time In-Store Loss Prevention Agent to protect our stores. Must have previous undercover, floor walking loss prevention experience.
Why Should You Apply?As an LP Agent, your primary focus is to provide undercover, plain clothes surveillance to identify and apprehend shoplifters. No risk management, safety, door greeting, alarms, audits, or inventory responsibilities. The position is solely focused on discreetly walking the sales floor undercover to apprehend shoplifters.
Starting Range$25.00 - $26.00 per hour.
Responsibilities- Complete Incident Reports
- Review Camera Footage
- Apprehend shoplifters
- Review BOLOs
- Handle stressful, unpredictable, and potentially dangerous situations with rational judgement
- Build relationships with store management and local law enforcement
- Work independently and as part of a team
- At least one year of previous undercover, floor walking loss prevention experience
- Ability to travel to multiple stores in the area
- Strong communication skills
- Valid motor vehicle record check
- Background check
- Ability to spend up to 100% of working hours standing/walking
- One-week paid vacation after six months, two weeks after one year
- Two 3-day weekends a month
