Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Retail Support
Position Summary
Provides member service. Maintains the checkout area, resolves member issues and concerns, promotes Sam's Club products and services, provides guidance on self‑service technology, processes purchases, and assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies. Follows safety standards and conducts safety sweeps. Handles merchandise properly, reports unsafe situations, maintains entrance and exit areas, verifies membership, assists members with purchases, organizes merchandise, maintains a safe shopping environment, safeguards assets, maintains documentation, executes emergency procedures, and ensures compliance with security and safety practices.
Training & DevelopmentAssists with training associate staff on company processes and procedures. Teaches new technology and tool functionality, delivers new program rollout training, and provides continuous learning and process improvement opportunities. Maintains the area of responsibility in accordance with company policies, correctly handles returns, and identifies shrink and damages.

Live Better U is a company‑paid education benefit program for full‑time and part‑time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high‑school completion to bachelor’s degrees, including English Language Learning and short‑form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are paid by Walmart.
The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may be paid in the form of premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications- Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment such as a cash register.
