Responsibilities

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with the team; and be flexible to the needs of the business, working in other areas as required.
  • Prepare food according to item specifications; understand and plan future and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; and demonstrate an understanding of product and layout execution.
  • Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pick‑up orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
  • Drive the area’s performance by stocking and rotating merchandise; ensure quality and date‑control standards; eliminate waste; provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; assist members with purchasing decisions, payment types, locating merchandise, and resolving member issues and concerns.
  • Act as a brand advocate; develop, influence, and inspire others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team‑oriented manner; understand roadblocks and assist in training associates.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans; use the Open Door Policy and apply these in executing business processes and practices.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.
Compensation

Hourly wage range: $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances (e.g., schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed). Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications
