Overview

The Meat Department Lead is responsible for providing meat preparation services for guests, setting & filling the service counter and self-service cases and providing outstanding guest service. The Meat Department Lead is expected to use meat operating tools and equipment up to 75% of the time. This position provides oversight to department staff and conditions in absence of department management. In stores that feature a Smokehouse, partners with Pit Master to feature product offerings.

Duties include assisting guests with orders and requests, answering guest questions, preparing and displaying items in the service counter, and maintaining overall cleanliness of department.
