Job Overview
The ideal logistics processor is independent, motivated, results oriented, and committed to providing outstanding customer experiences every day. Responsibilities include receiving, unloading freight, unpacking, and delivering merchandise, fulfilling customer orders, processing shipments, and supporting store operations.
Responsibilities- Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards
- Prepare and ship customer orders following quality, packing, and shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments according to inventory control processes
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Provide general support to the store: setting up special events, organizing backroom, markdowns, and relocating store fixtures
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with a variety of technology and new computer applications
- Flexibility to work varied schedules based on business needs
- Continuous movement for 6‑8 hours per shift; frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers
- Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
- Handle bulky and awkward objects, including lifting items above the head
- Regularly lift items up to 10 lbs and occasionally up to 25 lbs; frequent lifts up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
$16.85 – $17.55 per hour. Commission for most sellers varies by merchandise category; apparel, shoes, and accessories typically range from 3% to 14.5%. Beauty and Men’s Fragrance sales roles typically receive 3%.
