O​/N Merchandising Lead

Position Summary

Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; providing guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology; assisting members with purchasing decisions; locating merchandise; resolving member issues and concerns; and promoting the company's products and services.

Assists management with the supervision of associates in an assigned area by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training on processes and procedures, and ensuring compliance with policies and the Open Door Policy.

Receives and stocks supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors; organizes and maintains the sales floor using equipment, merchandising and paperwork logs in accordance with company policies.

Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, handling forklift spotting, disposing of hazardous materials, following steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations.

Ensures maintenance of the sales floor and merchandise presentation by handling claims, zoning, stocking, arranging, cleaning displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, identifying shrink, and securing fragile items.

Monitors food and merchandise quality by ensuring product rotation, code dating, recalls, sanitation standards, and departmental cleaning.

Leads and participates in teams, sharing resources, communicating priorities, coordinating work assignments, and modeling adaptability to change.

Oversees the picking and staging of club pickup orders, ensuring products are selected and staged per company policy.

Develops, communicates, and implements processes to meet business needs, collaborating with managers and partners, monitoring progress, and addressing improvement opportunities.

Demonstrates compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics, guiding business practices and assisting management with ethical issue resolution.
