Part Time Produce

Job Overview

Cub Lyndale is looking for a part-time produce team member. Produce team members are responsible for stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring visuals are appealing for customers. Product rotation is a critical duty to maintain freshness and minimize waste. This role requires attention to detail and strong customer service to support an efficient and enjoyable shopping experience.

• Operate equipment as needed (forklift, pallet jack, carts, box cutter, baler, etc.).
• Walk and stand for extended periods.
• Assist with memorization, reading, writing, and math tasks as required by the role.
• Interact with customers to provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service.
• Exercise good judgment when direct supervision is not immediately available.
• Understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Work shifts of varying length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Operate equipment used at the register and related devices (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc.).
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Memorization, reading, writing, and math skills.
• Provide ongoing customer interaction with prompt, courteous, and accurate service.
• Demonstrate good judgment in situations with limited supervision.
• Understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Must be able to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be 16 years of age or older.

• Lifting/carrying up to 70 lbs.
• Pushing/pulling up to 2500 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground; reaching, bending, and performing repetitive motions.
• Exposure to hot equipment and cooking oil.
