Category Manager - Frozen Potatoes

Lamex specializes in the sourcing, production, and distribution of frozen fruits, vegetables, juices, appetizers, honey, and animal proteins – supplying major food manufacturers, retailers, and distributors worldwide.

Lamex Foods is seeking a senior, commercially driven Category Manager to develop and grow our frozen potato products supply chain
. This role focuses on building global supplier relationships, supporting Lamex’s trading teams, and expanding potato product sales across existing markets. Office locations for this role are in Minneapolis and Miami.

• Develop and manage relationships with global frozen potato processors.
• Track market trends, pricing, crops, and supply dynamics.
• Support Lamex traders in selling potato products across multiple markets.
• Drive direct sales in select strategic markets.
• Support development of marketing and market intelligence materials.

• Proven experience in food trading and/or business development.
• Extensive direct sales experience with food retailers and/or distributors.
• Strong international trade and supplier management experience.
• Professional English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel (~30%).
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• Experience in the processed potato industry (frozen fries strongly preferred).

Salary Range:
Base Salary $100K - $150K depending on experience, plus uncapped commission.
