Position: Solution Engineer (Agriculture SaaS)

DTN has an exciting Senior Solution Engineer opportunity to join our US team! This individual will specialize in providing industry and technical expertise to help close sales in our Agriculture business.

Responsibilities
  • Effectively collaborate with account‑assigned sales professionals to close sales of strategic, complex, technical products.
  • Use in‑depth subject matter and product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales professionals and customer end‑users through sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Assist sales professionals in assessing potential applications of company products and developing recommendations to meet customer needs.
  • Prepare detailed product specifications for the implementation of customer products/applications/solutions, as needed.
  • Provide consultation to prospective users, and internal commercial teams and/or product capability assessment and validation.
  • Drive revenue generation for an assigned set of products.
  • Become a trusted advisor to clients and prospects.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the utilities industry.
  • 5+ years of experience working with enterprise customers in a Solution Engineer, pre‑sales, technical sales, or solution delivery role.
  • Be a brilliant storyteller, comfortable with challenging customers and prospects and teaching for value.
  • Knowledge of the challenges businesses encounter when adopting SaaS solutions in their Digital Transformation journey.
  • Strong commercial acumen required.
Benefits

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $93,000 and $123,000. This role may also be eligible for market‑competitive variable pay and benefits.
