Job Description

Summary: Grows the business in assigned territory by selling products to new prospects.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Builds and develops customer base through industry knowledge/contacts, networking, and prospecting.
  • Builds company brand and product awareness by participating in industry events.
  • Builds and maintains successful business partnerships by actively engaging customers.
  • Sources new sales opportunities through inbound leads. Follow-up and outbound cold calls and e-mails.
  • Provides sales forecasts to Account Team Lead at least monthly.
  • Business Plan Accountability.
  • Visits bottlers and sales centers throughout the MW and south region.
  • Visits PFI Instore factories on a regular basis to understand our capabilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

    Reasoning Ability

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

    Computer Skills

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, project management software, contact management software and Power Point.

    Education/Experience

    Bachelor's degree (B.

    A. /

    B. S.) from four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Specialized Training
    • 1-2 year of sales experience
    • Knowledge of point of purchase sales in the beverage industry helpful
