Entry Sales Associate​/Interior Designer

Cyrus Artisan Rugs is seeking a driven, design-minded Entry Sales Associate / Interior Designer to join our Bloomington showroom. This role is ideal for someone early in their design or sales career who is passionate about interiors, thrives in a client-facing environment, and is motivated to build lasting relationships within the interior design and architecture community.

You will work directly with retail clients, interior designers, and architects—guiding them through a highly consultative sales process centered around craftsmanship, design, and customization. Over time, a key expectation is your ability to develop and expand designer relationships locally and nationally, contributing meaningfully to showroom growth.

• Assist clients in selecting high‑end handmade rugs through a consultative sales approach
• Build and nurture relationships with interior designers, architects, and repeat clientele
• Generate and send client quotes, proposals, and follow-ups in a timely, professional manner
• Respond to e‑commerce and online inquiries with accuracy and attention to detail
• Maintain organized client records and track project progress
• Support showroom operations, including merchandising and sample coordination
• Participate in client meetings and gradually take ownership of projects and accounts
• Uphold a polished, luxury‑level client experience at all times
