Director of Insurance Sales
Boolimngton, MN | $140,000–$160,000 Base + Uncapped Incentive + Benefits

A rapidly growing insurance and financial-services organization is seeking an experienced life insurance sales and distribution leader to lead a high-performing insurance sales team and help drive the next phase of growth.

This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership position working closely with senior leadership. The role combines team management, sales coaching, advisor engagement, insurance case strategy, and business development
.

Unlike a traditional individual-production wholesaling role, the focus here is on leading people, improving execution, expanding advisor relationships, and growing the overall business
.

• Lead, coach, and develop insurance sales professionals
• Run weekly pipeline, activity, case, and placement reviews
• Coach the team on life insurance case design, advisor engagement, and sales strategy
• Conduct ride-alongs, training, shadowing, and individual performance coaching
• Improve advisor penetration, case volume, placement efficiency, and overall sales execution
• Develop and deepen relationships with financial advisors, RIAs, and financial-services firms
• Build strategic account plans and support joint advisor and client meetings
• Partner with advanced sales, marketing, and executive leadership on growth initiatives
• Represent the organization at conferences, advisor meetings, and industry events

• 5+ years of life insurance, annuity, wholesaling, or insurance-distribution experience
• Strong experience working directly with financial advisors
• Background within a BGA, insurance carrier, or advisor-focused insurance organization
• Strong life insurance knowledge with case-design and advanced-sales experience
• Experience leading, coaching, mentoring, or managing sales professionals
• Strong executive presence and relationship-building ability
• Active Series 6 and Series 63 licenses
• Comfortable working onsite in Shakopee
• Comfortable with approximately 25% travel

• $140K–$150K base salary
• Uncapped revenue-based incentive opportunity
• Participate in the growth of the broader business — not solely individual production
• Strong existing revenue base and significant built-in growth
• Direct visibility with executive leadership
• Newly created leadership role with the ability to shape the team and sales strategy
• High-performing, entrepreneurial environment
• No personal case-production quota
• Approximately 25% travel
