Safety and Security Officer

• Make scheduled rounds inside and outside the building to maintain a secure environment.
• Schedule and ensure that all fire and disaster drills are conducted for each shift and that accurate detailed logs are kept.
• Maintain security records, including safety inspections, repair needs of equipment, unusual circumstances, and service requests; ensure all safety equipment is in working order.
• Respond to all fire alarms and emergency calls and notify appropriate team members as necessary.
• Maintain a daily guard report of the shift and provide detailed explanations of occurrences, ensuring accurate information is shared between shifts.
• Ensure that all guests, team members, residents, and vendors enter and exit the community and building through the appropriate entrances and exits, providing appropriate identification when requested.
• Perform light maintenance as needed, such as changing light bulbs or unclogging toilets/drains.
• Transport residents and/or team members on and/or off the property as requested.
• Deliver packages to residents and distribute in-house mail.
• Greet residents and guests, assist with luggage and packages, and park and retrieve resident vehicles.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to three years of applicable experience.
• A state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record as defined by current insurance mandates.

Pay Range: $17.97–$24.74 hourly. Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and position‑related competencies. Pay is commensurate with experience and determined by skills, internal equity and level of experience.
