We are looking to add an installer to our team in Bloomington, MN.

Position Summary:

Installation:

Assist with the installation of signs at various locations, ensuring they are securely and correctly mounted.

Help load and unload materials and tools required for installation jobs.

Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Maintenance and Upkeep:

Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.

Assist in inventory management by tracking materials and supplies.

Learning and Development:

Participate in training sessions to learn industry standards, techniques, and safety practices.

Shadow experienced technicians to gain practical knowledge and skills.

Stay updated with new technologies and methods in the sign-making industry.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Vocational training or coursework in graphic design, industrial arts, or a related field is a plus.

Skills:

Basic understanding of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Corel

DRAW) is desirable.

Mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand and power tools.

Strong attention to detail and precision in work.

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.

Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Other Requirements:

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Willingness to travel to different job sites as needed.

Working Conditions:

This position involves both indoor and outdoor work environments.

The apprentice may be exposed to loud noises, machinery, and various weather conditions.

Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
