Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration

• Support and oversee repair of Walmart facility refrigeration and HVAC equipment and assets
• Maintain and repair commercial refrigeration HVAC equipment using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment
• Use the work order management system to receive repair work orders and document repair activities
• Support stores and store associates
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, and test facilities, equipment, and fixtures to diagnose issues
• Complete required training to operate equipment and tools safely
• Perform work according to Walmart refrigeration HVAC safety policies and environmental guidelines
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines

• 2 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large-scale rack refrigeration experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report
• 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Option 1:
  Vocational or technical HVAC/R certification and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls
• Option 2: 4 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls or related field
• Maintain Type I and Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling
• HVAC-R/mechanical journeyman qualification where required
• No DUI, DWI, or OUI convictions in the last five years on a commercial driving record
• No more than two moving violations in the last three years on a commercial driving record
• No preventable commercial motor vehicle accidents in the last three years
• No serious traffic violations under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations in the last three years
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work frequently at heights

Demonstrates expertise in commercial refrigeration and HVAC maintenance, ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations while effectively managing repair work orders and emergency maintenance calls. Holds necessary certifications and possesses strong mechanical skills to support facility operations.
