Position Overview
Position Title: Supervision Paraprofessional
Location: Olson Middle School
Effective Date: August 25, 2026
Salary: See Para Contract
Hours: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week, 180 days/year
Required
Education:
High School Diploma; 60 credits post‑secondary or passing score on the Para Pro Exam
Required Experience: Experience working with adolescents in a supervisory capacity preferred.
Responsibilities- Ensure safety for students and staff throughout the school day and after school
- Front door, hallway, parking lot, and lunchroom supervision
- Partner with school administration for student support
- Other duties as assigned
- Health & Dental Insurance:

Additionally, your spouse and dependent children to age twenty‑six are also covered. There is also LTD insurance to help if they can't work due to illness or injury for an extended period of time. - Retirement & Pension Savings:
Employees can save money for their future through a retirement plan or pension. The district helps by contributing money towards their savings through match, and through contributions to the State retirement plan. - Paid Time Off:
Employees accrue time off for things like Earned Personal Leave or sick days. - Employee Support:
There is also help for employees with life events through a free Employee Assistance Program. This program covers many things, including mental health, financial health, aging parent resources, young family resources.
