Lamex Foods is seeking an International Logistics Specialist – Exports to manage global export shipments from purchase through final delivery. This role plays a critical part in international supply chain operations, working closely with traders, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of frozen and chilled food products worldwide.

Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end export logistics operations, including ocean freight, drayage, and refrigerated (reefer) shipments
- Coordinate shipments with ocean carriers, freight forwarders, trucking companies, and cold storage facilities
- Act as primary contact for all logistics vendors and service providers
- Support trading team with contract entry, shipment planning, cost analysis, and export documentation
- Monitor shipments, track milestones, and resolve delays in real time
- Negotiate freight rates and carrier contracts to optimize cost and service
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and export requirements
- Review and approve freight invoices and logistics costs
- Manage and resolve vendor claims and discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records in logistics and ERP systems
- 3+ years of experience in international logistics, export operations, freight forwarding, or supply chain
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or related field (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of export documentation, ocean freight, and container logistics (reefer experience a plus)
- Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and vendor management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.
- Experience with frozen or perishable goods
- Familiarity with Incoterms, customs processes, and global trade compliance
- Experience working with global suppliers or international markets
Salary Range: $70,000 – $85,000 (based on experience)
