This is a seasonal position; you can use your winters off to travel, hunt, fish or for other activities you enjoy while your benefits continue year round

This position is responsible for completing various laborer and small equipment operation tasks to assist crew in daily production as well as moving equipment from site to site. Tearing down and setting up mobile equipment for transportation.
Typical schedule is Monday - Friday with one Saturday per month. Schedule may vary due to weather or customer demand.
DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIESSafely perform labor tasks including any of the following:
- Daily physical demands include lifting, moving, pushing and/or pulling objects of various sizes and weight.
- Level earth using pick or shovel.
- Shovel excess material away from crushers, screen or wash plant unit as needed.
- Fill sandbags.
- May operate small, powered hand tools.
- Safely and properly perform maintenance (lubricating, fueling and cleaning) and operate small equipment, such as skid steer, tractor, jackhammer, air compressor and various other small equipment.
- Drive pickup truck, hook and unhook trailer to pickup trucks.
- Able to drive truck/skid steer trailer combination to transport skid steer and other equipment and material from site to site (CDL license).
- Potential to act as Laborer in other product lines with similar tasks and physical demands.
- Ensure adherence to MSHA/OSHA, safety and environmental regulation compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations.
- Self‑motivated, team‑player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations & act courteous/respectful of others.
- Monitor and discuss production problems with co‑workers and managers/supervisors.
- General education, grammar and arithmetic, GED or high school diploma or equivalent.
- Equipment maintenance and operation.
- Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure, medical card and acceptable driving record.
- CDL license preferred.
