RequirementsPossess a class D driver’s license and the ability to obtain a medical examiner’s certificate
Job Description- Ensure the safety, welfare, and appropriate conduct of passengers on the vehicle
- Operate the vehicle with care to ensure efficiency. Conduct a complete daily pre‑trip inspection of the van and any special equipment. Keep the inside of the van clean and free of debris
- Drive assigned route in any van as directed by Dispatch
- Able to read maps and/or follow driving directions
- Follow route copies precisely
- Report on time for all assigned duties
- Show courteous behavior to the driving public
- Follow operational procedures in emergency situations and participate in safety events or evacuation drills
- Complete required paperwork and submit in a timely manner
- Participate in ongoing training and attend annual evaluations
- Must ensure that all rules, laws, and policies set by the Minnesota Department of Transportation and the Bloomington School District are strictly adhered to
