The Temporary Research Librarian provides information literacy support and research assistance to undergraduates, graduates, and faculty, operating under the authority of the Director of the Commonwealth University Libraries.
Responsibilities- Assist researchers in locating relevant information.
- Participate in the Library’s Information Literacy Instruction program.
- Stay informed about current events in the Library profession that pertain to job duties.
- Collaborate with academic departments as assigned.
- Work as a team member with other librarians and staff as directed by the Director.
- Experience using and teaching online information resources.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations.
- Finalists must successfully complete an interview.
- Preferred:
Prior academic library experience.
