Our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead and execute capital projects and process improvements across manufacturing operations. This role will manage projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with safety, quality, and operational standards. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, proven project management skills, and hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Salary: $115,000 - $130,000 per year
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to play a critical role in our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of engineering projects with a focus on optimizing manufacturing processes and systems. Responsibilities- Leading the design, development, and execution of various engineering projects, ensuring alignment with company strategy and goals.
- Developing detailed project plans, including scope of work, timelines, and cost estimates.
- Managing all stages of the project lifecycle, from concept to implementation, while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and to solve complex engineering problems.
- Implementing and optimizing manufacturing processes and systems to improve efficiency, quality, and performance.
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of latest manufacturing technologies and methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in capital project delivery, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Solid understanding of food manufacturing processes and systems.
- Expertise in developing scopes of work and project cost estimates.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
