Plant Engineer

Location: Bloomsburg, PA

Salary: $ USD Annually - $ USD Annually

Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Plant Engineer in Bloomsburg, PA area! The candidate will be responsible to direct, schedule and control all engineering and maintenance functions.

• Provide engineering leadership at the plant level
• Supervise and coach direct reports
• Complete direct reports performance reviews and provide feedback
• Manage capital projects for the plant
• Recommend equipment and processing system modifications and replacements
• Remain up to date on plant technology
• Develop, implement, and control approved budgets
• Create and maintain engineering records including equipment records and manuals, drawing and diagrams, inspections reports and any legal documents
• Establish and administer and effective predictive/preventative maintenance program
• Oversee all processes for maintenance and engineering associates
• Lead inclusive of plant, division, and company goals
• Work closely with outside organizations such as OSHA, EPA, FDA

• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Engineering degree preferred
• 5+ years’ experience in the food industry
• Knowledge of GMP, EPA and OSHA requirements
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Proven leadership skills
