• Ensure safe work practices are being followed
• Oversee production lines
• Manage manpower and personnel issues
• Ensure production schedules are followed
• Implement continuous improvement ideas
• Work with maintenance when equipment issues arise

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing environment in lieu of degree is acceptable
• Previous supervisory experience
• Demonstrated trouble-shooting skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to mentor production personnel
• Ability to effectively present information to management and employees of the organization
• Basic math skills are required
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and the ability to deal with problems in standardized situations
