• Provide primary clinical support to the provider, patient, and family to assist in diagnosis and treatment of the patient's condition.
• Follow up on diagnostic testing to ensure completion, accuracy, and filing in the medical record to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Promote a clean environment and maintain a safe, organized examination and treatment area.
• Obtain and document patient medical history, chief complaint, vital signs, and provide basic medical database for the provider; prepare patient for examinations.
• Provide direct clinical care as directed by the provider and assist in minor surgical diagnostic procedures and ancillary diagnostic examinations as directed by the provider.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens with documentation to expedite laboratory studies accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate with the provider about patient questions and requests to ensure efficient use of provider time and timely patient response.
• Administer medications and vaccines, including intradermal and skin testing, under the direction of a provider and per scope of practice.
• Prepare examination and treatment rooms between cases; maintain asepsis and ensure availability of instruments and equipment.
• Work typically in a clinical environment and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.

• Education:
  
  Graduate from Specialty Training Program in Nursing (Required).
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 1 year nursing (Preferred).
• Certification(s) and License(s):
  Basic Life Support Certification (required);
  Licensed Practical Nurse (required).
• Skills:
