You will be responsible for upholding safety standards and enforcing regulations related to the installation and functioning of electrical equipment.

Additionally, thorough inspections of electrical apparatus will be conducted across anthracite deep coal mines, preparation facilities, and storage areas. These inspections are essential for mitigating the risks associated with accidents and ensuring the reliability of electrical equipment.

work schedule and additional information:

• full-time employment
• work hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, monday - friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• this position may require you to be on call 24/7.
• multiple positions may be filled from this posting as they become available in one of the following counties: schuylkill, carbon, dauphin, northumberland, columbia, lackawanna, and luzerne

qualifications minimum experience and training requirements:

• five years of experience in the underground anthracite coal mines of pennsylvania in the capacity of a mine electrician or electrical engineer and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a standard high school or vocational school; or
• any equivalent combination of experience and training.

• possession of a valid driver's pennsylvania driver's license.
